Ms Eve Jardine-Young
Eve became the 11th Principal of the Cheltenham Ladies’ College in September 2011 having been educated at College some twenty years earlier.
Eve has a degree in Engineering Science from Cambridge and started working for Ove Arup & Partners, Structural Engineers, before following her heart into the teaching profession.
She began her career at Radley College teaching Economics and subsequently spent ten years at Epsom College where positions held included Housemistress and Head of Sixth Form. Eve was Director of Studies at Blundell’s School in Devon before returning to College as Principal.
Eve is Chair of the World Leading Schools Association (WLSA) and has spoken on themes relating to leadership and education in the UK, Washington, Prague and Hong Kong. She was was appointed as one of the Deputy Lieutenants of Gloucestershire in 2017, she is also a trustee of the Barnwood Trust, whose work supports marginalised and vulnerable adults in leading more independent lives.
She is married to James, is widely travelled and has a broad range of interests including design, music, horticulture and sustainability initiatives.
