Former Housemistress of Glenlee - Mrs Dorothy Fletcher

We have received the sad news that Mrs Dorothy Fletcher former Housemistress of Glenlee (from 1983-1992), died on Monday 8th October.  She started her career at College as a part-time member of the house staff in Glenlee in 1974 and became Housemistress of Glenlee in 1983, succeeding Mrs Gilmore.

Her family has asked us to pass on the funeral arrangements to any Guild and Honorary members who may have known her.

The first Networking Dinner of this academic year was STEAM, rather than STEM, which also encompasses the Arts. This was very well received by girls and many really appreciated the value that art adds to science in general.

On 4th December, the Religious Studies and Philosophy Department welcomed Dr Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury and current Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge.
