COLLEGE REUNION AND GUILD AGM
REUNION – CANCELLED, AGM – POSTPONED (see further details below)
We have made the decision to cancel the Guild Reunion on 16th May. We have a duty of care to our community and it is hard to know whether such a mass gathering will be possible again by then, never mind that social distancing is the antithesis of all that Reunion stands for!
In the meantime, we will process refunds for those who had already booked a place. Please see below details about the changes to the AGM.
CHANGES TO ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2020
The Government’s requirements regarding Covid-19 have resulted in the cancellation of the Guild reunion in May. However, legally, Guild is still obliged to hold an AGM and the Guild Executive Committee invites all Guild members to participate by nominating the Chairman of Guild, Olga Senior, as a proxy to vote on their behalf at the meeting which will be held on 16th July 2020 at her home address by video/teleconference between the principal officers of Guild. The proxy form is enclosed with Guild News 2020 or download by clicking here. Completed forms must be signed and can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. (please note Guild Hon members cannot vote.)
The business of the meeting will follow the published agenda and members are asked to vote on the appointment of the new Chairman and decade representatives for the 2000s and 2010s, the re-appointment of Directors for their second term of three years and to acknowledge the receipt of the annual accounts.
If you wish to raise any points about the 2019 AGM minutes, 2019 accounts or have any questions which you would have raised under the matters arising agenda, please submit them to the Chairman in advance of the meeting either by email to email@example.com
or in writing.
