Guild Event at BAFTA

41 Guild members and their guests, as well as seven current pupils, interested or working in the Film or TV Industries met in London at BAFTA in Piccadilly at an event kindly organised and hosted by Sara Putt (1980-1982 Roderic). A panel of women from the industry talked about their experiences and answered lots of interesting questions from the audience.  It was a lovely evening, with a high level of hubbub and chatting.  It was great to meet Guild members with a wide variety of interests and of differing ages, including some who had only left College in July.

These are some of the messages we have received:-

'Thank you for arranging such a useful and informative evening.  I am so grateful that Sara Putt, along with her esteemed guests, gave their time to meet with us and to give an insight into the film/television industry.

I brought along my 17 year old daughter and she found it hugely beneficial. The emphasis on building relationships and taking every opportunity available should hopefully help her when she finishes her studies and ventures into her working life.'

'We really enjoyed the BAFTA evening and would like to thank Guild and Sara Putt for looking after us so well.  We’d be very interested in attending another event.'

'Thanks so much for a superb evening!'
