Former Staff - July 23

We have received the sad news that former members of staff, Miss Shelagh Davson and Mrs Margaret Waker, have died:

MISS SHELAGH DAVSON

Former Head of Physical Education and Senior Mistress from 1959-1987, died on Friday 23rd June, aged 97. 

Her family have asked me to pass on this information to Guild and Honorary members.  

All are welcome for the memorial service on Tuesday 8th August at 2pm at St Mary’s Church, Mill Street, Prestbury, Cheltenham, GL52 3BG and afterwards at the Royal Oak Pavilion, Prestbury.

In lieu of flowers you are invited to make a donation to The Royal British Legion via Selim Smith Funeral Directors, online or in the collection box at the service.

MRS MARGARET WAKER

Former Head of Biology from 1970-1988, having started part-time in 1959, died on Saturday 15th July, aged 95. 

Her family have asked me to pass on this information to Guild and Honorary members.  

All are welcome for the service of thanksgiving on Wednesday 2nd August at 2.30pm at St Mary’s Church, Mill Street, Prestbury, Cheltenham, GL52 3BG and afterwards at the Royal Oak Pavilion, Prestbury.
