FREELANCE MARKETING ASSISTANT
Imogen Naylor-Higgs (2006-2011, St Clare/Bayshill) is the Marketing Manager at BBC Global News for their branded content division, Programme Partnerships (BBC StoryWorks). She has a job opportunity for a freelance marketing assistant to join her team and Imogen has asked me to post this to Guild members to see if there would be anyone interested in applying for the role.

FREELANCE MARKETING ASSISTANT
- Starting: End of April / early May. Depending on availability.
- Remit: 3 days p/ week. Potential to extend in busy periods and beyond.
- Based: Role is remote to begin with and then will be based at Television Centre, White City, London
- Job role and responsibilities:
- Prior experience is not required for this role, but the successful candidate must be a creative thinker who has a strong work ethic and enjoys working as part of a team. Strong attention to detail is a must, as is being able to work well under pressure.
- You must have strong copy-writing skills, have a keen eye for detail and understand the key concepts of digital marketing and website functionality.
- Diligent proof-reading for the website and marketing materials.
- Work with the rest of the team to produce compelling websites and support with social media delivery across various topics and sectors.
- Deliver website building. No coding experience required for website builds. Potential to include website copywriting in role remit.
- Support for series launch events; with research into topics, panel setups, BBC Talent sourcing and confirming, and event logistics.
- Provide ideas for marketing campaigns and support in campaign delivery.
