SUMMER LUNCH - CANCELLED (due to lack of interest)

Brigid Lomax (Metcalfe, 1964-1971, Hatherley Court) is kindly hosting a barbecue lunch on Tuesday 6th June (12-4pm) at her home overlooking the River Severn in Hempsted, near Gloucester.

After lunch Rachel Roberts, the CLC archivist, will give a short talk, “John Ruskin and his connections with CLC”.  We will ask for a contribution of £15 to cover costs.

TOUR OF JAVELIN PARK - Tuesday 12th   December 11am

Javelin Park, at Haresfield near Stonehouse, is the Gloucestershire Energy from Waste Facility. It is designed to reduce landfill and generate energy as electricity and heat. This eye-opening tour lasts about two hours. We will be equipped with the appropriate PPE.
